    The most important point to emerge from this video is that Rav Ovadia Yoseh does NOT condemn them, even though he says that his own wife, daughters and daughters in law did not and do not dress like this. This is affirmed in the key secret recording of the current leader, Mrs. Benizri who comes across as a very smart and savvy woman with deep emunah who went with her husband to Rav Yosef who told him (her husband) that this is the way his ancestors dressed and from them came great people.

    The key pitch is that they are stressing TZNIUT (modesty), and this message reverberates with today's women. This is something to be expected with so much nudity and sexuality exposing women and making them feel vulnerable. One must also realize that Israel is a Middle Eastern country and no surprise that it notices Middle Eastern trends where Israel's plentiful Middle Eastern Jews once lived.

    After viewing this video one gaines an incredible insight what this is all about.

    It starts by looking at who is doing this "expose" -- secular Israeli TV journalists. Would they do as dramatic an expose on the growth of strip and dance clubs in Israel where women by the tents of thousands strip naked and please men for money, or about the mass nudism on Israeli beaches and public pools, or about wanton and exploitation of females of all ages in nudity and sex in movies, TV, and on the Internet? Deep down all this must frighten and shake women to the core and all of these are essentially exploitative of women, destructive of femininity, abusive of sexuality and simply misogynous. Same reason some women turn to become nuns or remain single in the Christian world while in Judaism such women marry and raise families.

    So some women of Israel have found a way to "strike back" and retake and regain what is rightfully theirs, the body and soul of their own womanhood, and as one of them teaches, their neshamot (souls) are to be covered up and hidden by their clothes. No wonder they will have success with secular women who have been exploited sexually or fear living in a "sex-crazed" world. And not surprising that even some frum women go for this because they are in any case closer to this than to anything else and it's some place "to go" perhaps even as an escape from their own husbands' and male lack of sensitivity and brutishness, for lack of a better word.

    In one scene the women are taught to cover themselves even while dressing so that "the walls not see their bodies" and this is not something new but was practiced by very frum women even in Europe.

    So bottom line, it seems there is no rolling back of this movement.

    One way or another willy-nilly, these women are retaking their womanhood, femininity and sexuality on their own female terms. It would be interesting to know if any man or rabbi has been behind this or this was entirely spawned by activist females?

    It is probably an injustice and loshon hora to call them "Taliban" women (they are after all religious Jewish women), so another name will have to be invented, like "MELUBASHOT" ("completely clothed") or "NISTAROT" ("entirely hidden") or "ATIKOT" ("ancient ones") or some such.

    The main problem is of course the violence that may occur in some circles, as this video points out, but this is no different to the violence that may occur in any frum or even secular home or society where some want to break the accepted norms and must face the music. More violence and murders occur in secular Israeli families and society.

    The greatest fear in the very end is that all sense of balance will be lost in the rush to more frumkeit with a mad descent into an Iran-like Ayatola theocracy with CH"V public executions for "immorality" -- something best left for the arrival of the true Mashiach to ponder and the advent of the real Sanhedrin to determine with the building of the Third Bais HaMikdash.
